From the desk of Chairman
I still remember the days in the year 1995, where we had first thought of venturing into education. As it was a totally, new field for us, the only way to learn was to become students once again. Thus started a learning process of finding what the education process in the country was, is and should be and after studying and contemplating various education systems, both in India and abroad emerged an education model to which we give name "ROYAL".
Why Royal because their are multiple paths to learning and school should be a facilitator in the process. Education is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about training young minds with the skills of using this knowledge purposefully and effectively towards the betterment of self and society.
Why an International School? Today the term international is most misunderstood one, in terms of context, 'Internationalization' and 'Modernization'do not mean 'Westernization'. My belief about Internationalism is to study the cultures of various societies to pick up good aspects and imbibing them in our students. At least thgis is the approach we have here at 'Royal'. Having community of teachers and students from diverse nations and cultures compliments this very approach.
The other aspects that we lay a strong emphasis upon are strong Human and Social Values. One has to be compassionate and maintain receptivity and respect for different opinions. After all, these are the pivotal traits that can make the world a better place.
To transform this into a breathing reality, we need a teacher who is caring and is a facilitator, friend motivator, guide, conselor (the list is endless) above all passionate to the cause - someone who sees it as a vocation and not just profession. For we believe that it is the attitude that has to be right-with a mind that has open spaces and a heart that's closed to none. People with the right kind of attitude easily acquire the skills required for their job. Then it is our responsibility to nurture them with the right kind of in service training- both in India and abroad for the teachers of Royal are specialists who ingrain in our students the finer nuances of life and pave every single step of their ascent to a socially, morally, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually responsible citizenry. To transform them "Citizens of the World".
We always believe in standing by our beliefs and never resting on our laurels. Because we seek to enhance upon what we have already achieved. we are proud of the heights we have achieved. But there are lofties peaks to scale. Day after day. Year after year.
